SHARON HORNE - Managing Director
Sharon is an international consultant with experience as a business owner, an associate professor of a Canadian university, an executive coach and leadership development consultant. She loves to guide individuals to realize their leadership potential, break through stale paradigms and make the necessary changes that achieve continuous bottom line results.
Sharon’s early career was spent as a project manager with a Canadian Organisation, OPCAN Katimavik where she led groups of 17-21 year old youth reach their leadership potential by working and living in communities throughout Canada. This work gave her the necessary experience and inspiration to then build the successful small business “The Kip Café” Sharon was able to combine her love of great food, service and the love of beautiful environments to her work. With this experience it was natural for her to take the next step in her leadership development and join ”People Development Consulting, Canada” where she worked for fifteen years to guide individuals and groups in small and medium businesses, communities and government to grow their organisations. She developed extensive human resource and strategic plans, personal competence plans as well as designing and delivering extensive trainings to bring ideas into practical applications.
Sharon now leads her own consulting business . She has designed and developed programs in the U.S, Canada, Nepal, Mongolia, Spain, and Australia. and China. She continues to work with clients to create meaningful and lasting change in their lives and the lives of the organisations they lead. She works ongoing to build a toolkit of transformational leadership strategies and innovations to assist in this process and uses a light-hearted approach to guide those she works with to achieve results they did not view as possible. Her focus is in three main areas:
1. Executive Coaching: Currently she is coaching senior managers in foreign invested companies as well as working with individual clients focusing on reaching their leadership potential by building competence at strategic, operational and personal levels and are interested in breaking out of stale paradigms to implement significant changes in their work and personal lives.
2. Business Consulting: She assists future bound corporations in their organisational cultural change initiatives on a strategic, operational and a personal level.
3. Training: Sharon heads training courses on Leadership and Coaching. This may involve a range of programs on creativity, whole brain thinking, breakthrough strategic thinking, train the trainer and teambuilding or by building a custom designed program to meet specific client needs.
